Medical Director - Lince K. Varughese, MD

"My love for wound care resides in the special opportunity to impact a person's quality of life in an area of medicine often overlooked or misunderstood."  Dr. Lince Varughese was born and raised in Long Island, NY. During his family medicine residency, he was introduced to the field of wound care and hyperbaric medicine, participating in a life altering elective involving the largest multiplace hyperbaric chamber in the Northeastern United States. Encounters within this field led him to pursue a fellowship in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.  In July 2018, Dr. Varughese moved to Rockwall, TX with his beautiful family and began his practice with HWC serving as the Medical Director at the LifeCare Wound Center of Dallas.  He currently practices at the Baylor Scott and White Wound Center in Rowlett, TX.
