Medical Director - Doug L. Friesen, M.D.

Dr Doug Friesen has been a practicing General Surgeon since 1988.  He is a graduate of The University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency in General Surgery at their Wichita branch.  He earned Board Certification from the American Board of Surgery in 1989.  Dr Friesen practiced General Surgery, taking care of complex wounds in hospitalized patients, until 2013 when he devoted his entire practice to outpatient wound care and hyperbaric medicine.  He has maintained his board certification and is the Medical Director of the Mercy Hyperbaric and Wound Care Center in Rogers Arkansas.  The center in Rogers treats all chronic wounds and they use advanced wound care modalities including hyperbaric oxygen, grafts of several kinds and local care.
