Medical Director - Maya Batista, M.D.

Dr. Batista is the Medical Director at LifeCare Wound Center and Hyperbarics of Fort Worth. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University before earning a medical degree at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. In 2018, she completed training in General Surgery at University of Oklahoma in Tulsa, where she was first introduced to acute and chronic wound care. She is now a board-certified surgeon practicing a full spectrum of comprehensive wound care and application of advanced therapeutics including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in helping complex wounds heal.
